According to a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court and obtained by NBC News, a woman named Grace O’Marcaigh has accused Christian, 26, of sexual assault, harassment, and emotional distress during a trip on his father’s yacht in late December 2022.
O’Marcaigh alleges that during her tenure as a steward on the yacht, she encountered a “constant rotation of suspected sex workers” and celebrities engaging in partying and drug use. She claims that on December 28, 2022, Christian, allegedly heavily intoxicated, boarded the yacht and targeted her, pressuring her to consume alcohol and subsequently becoming aggressive.
Describing a harrowing ordeal, O’Marcaigh asserts that Christian forcibly groped her and attempted to coerce her into performing sexual acts. She alleges that despite her protests, Christian persisted, leaving her with physical and emotional trauma.
In a damning turn, O’Marcaigh claims that when she reported the incident to the yacht captain, she faced disbelief and retaliation, ultimately leading to her termination months later. The lawsuit also implicates Diddy himself, alleging his complicity in the assault under premises liability as the yacht’s charterer.
Commenting on the lawsuit, O’Marcaigh’s attorneys express support for her courage in coming forward. “Like father, like son. It gives us no joy or pleasure in filing this suit against Christian Combs,” says attorney Tyrone Blackburn. Rodney S. Diggs adds, “Hopefully her story will inspire others to come forward.”
