Pop star Harry Styles and actress Taylor Russell have called it quits after a 14-month whirlwind romance. The news comes after their much-anticipated trip to Japan, which insiders reveal was a “make or break” moment for the couple.
The 30-year-old “Watermelon Sugar” singer and the 29-year-old “Lost in Space” star seemed to be going strong, with sightings of the pair enjoying Tokyo’s subway together in April. However, their relationship hit a rough patch, leading to their decision to part ways.
An insider spilled the details, saying, “Harry and Taylor have ended their relationship. They went through a rough patch after their trip to Japan and are taking some time apart. He’s been in America and she’s been in London. They made a lovely couple and it was obvious Taylor made Harry happy. Things have become strained recently though and they’ve taken some time out.”
The breakup became more evident when Taylor appeared solo at the Met Gala in New York, dressed in a stunning nude molded corset and silk skirt, while Harry was nowhere in sight.
