Pete Davidson and Chase Sui Wonders have apparently called it quits, just eight months after they made their relationship public with a cozy appearance at Universal Studios Hollywood in January. It looks like the King of Staten Island is reigning solo now.
Reports are circulating that Pete Davidson and Chase Sui Wonders have ended their relationship, which lasted less than a year. They initially seemed to confirm their romantic involvement in January, taking their on-screen connection from the 2022 horror film Bodies, Bodies, Bodies into the real world. Earlier, Chase had spoken positively about working with Pete on the project.
“We had some intense scenes in the movie, so it was refreshing to have some fun outside of that, to have a good guy who can lighten things up and bring humor to the role,” she shared with The Face Magazine in September 2022. “He’s also incredibly skilled at dramatic acting, which I’m really excited for everyone to see.”
During their time together, the former couple enjoyed public displays of affection in various places. They were seen cuddling at the 65th annual Daytona 500 in February and sharing a kiss during a romantic trip to Kauai in March. In the following month, they celebrated the premiere of Pete’s semi-autobiographical comedy series, Bupkis. Chase played the role of his on-and-off girlfriend Nikki in the show.
“[Pete and I] hit it off quickly during Bodies, and it was evident that we worked well together. He’s such a pro, and acting alongside him is my favorite thing,” she mentioned to Nylon in May. “Once we started on Bupkis, it felt like we were in sync again.”
Nevertheless, Chase also highlighted that her connection with Pete had a different dimension behind closed doors.
“We talk about everything,” she disclosed to Nylon, “and we’re very open with each other about everything. What’s happening in our relationship feels very special.” Amid their time together, Pete and Chase were involved in a car accident in Beverly Hills that luckily wasn’t fatal. Following the incident in March, where Pete crashed into a fire hydrant and caused property damage, he was directed to complete 50 hours of community service by the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office.
Chase also stood by Pete when his beloved dog Henry passed away in May. A few weeks later, she accompanied him to a pet store in New York City, where Pete got a Cavapoo puppy, according to footage obtained by TMZ. This decision was criticized by PETA, leading Pete to leave an explicit voicemail which ended up being leaked online. Before dating Chase, Pete was in a nine-month relationship with Kim Kardashian, which ended in August 2022.
As of now, neither Pete nor Chase has commented on the reported split.
