Amelia Gray Hamlin made quite the fashion statement at the 2023 Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Fashion Awards in New York City. The 22-year-old model turned heads in a daring Alaïa Spring 2024 Ready To Wear gown. Her outfit featured a translucent baby sheer gown with a turtle neck, long sleeves adorned with baby blue fur on her forearms, and a matching baby blue high-cut undergarment, providing a peekaboo moment.
Amelia complemented the bold look with heavy black eye makeup, a light brown lipstick, and a sleek high ponytail. She accessorized the outfit with two large silver ballooning bangles.
The CFDA Fashion Awards, which celebrates the fashion industry’s impact and innovation, drew a star-studded crowd. Attendees included CFDA host Anne Hathaway, Gwyneth Paltrow, Demi Moore, Kim Kardashian, Mary J. Blige, Serena Williams, Julia Fox, Vera Wang, Jenna Lyons, Naomi Watts, Martha Stewart, Rosario Dawson, Ashley Graham, and many more.
Gwyneth Paltrow received the Innovation Award for her work with Goop, while Serena Williams was honored with the CFDA’s Fashion Icon award. The event also recognized Mara Hoffmann with the Sustainability Award, Maria Cornejo with the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award, and Domenico De Sole with the Founder’s Award in Honor of Eleanor Lambert.
Amelia has been making waves in the fashion world and recently made her Chanel runway debut. She walked the Chanel Cruise show in May, alongside other celebrities like Margot Robbie, Sofia Richie, and Kristen Stewart. Her mother, Lisa Rinna, couldn’t be prouder of her achievements, documenting the special moment on her Instagram. Rinna and Hamlin even share a passion for fashion and have swapped clothes over the years, with Hamlin wearing her mom’s vintage Alaïa dress and recreating iconic looks that Rinna wore in the past.
