Amir Khan and his wife Faryal Makhdoom are reportedly separated and living apart following allegations of Amir sexting a model. The couple, married for ten years, is said to be splitting their time between Dubai and Britain amidst the latest scandal to hit their marriage.
According to a source close to the Khan family, “Faryal is taking time to think about whether or not to walk away.” The source also revealed to MailOnline that Amir’s estranged wife is “going through a very difficult time and choosing to focus on her children while she and Amir continue to co-parent.”
The scandal emerged after Amir, 36 was caught messaging bridal model Sumaira, 25, requesting revealing pictures and trying to arrange a meeting with her. This incident led to a strain in his marriage with Faryal, 32. The boxer later apologized and expressed his willingness to seek therapy to prevent such behavior in the future.
Despite the controversy, Amir took Faryal on a romantic trip to Mykonos to salvage their relationship. However, Faryal later released a statement on Instagram, addressing the accusations and “hate campaign” she faced, and criticized Sumaira’s representative for trying to “tarnish” her reputation.

At the time, Faryal said she’s “being criticised for being Amir’s wife, for still staying with him knowing his ‘track record,” and addressed how she has “bared the brunt of many scandals and embarrassing events.”
However, Faryal said she was refusing to “play out my marriage publicly” but had released a statement “after a long week of accusations, slander and harassment”.
“This is the man I am married too and have three young children with. The whole world is aware of his track record, his reputation precedes him, why would you as a single woman want to engage in a conversation with him at all?” she retorted.
“My focus is my children and shielding them from all that is happening. I am simply a mother trying to do what’s best for her children and that is all I am willing to pour my energy into,” she added.
Amir and Faryal’s marriage had previously been troubled by cheating rumors, leading to a temporary split in 2017. However, they reconciled and continued to build a family together, raising three children.
The current situation puts their relationship under scrutiny once again, and Faryal is navigating the difficult decision of whether to stay or move on.
