Kylie Jenner and Jordyn Woods have been seen together for the first time in four years, suggesting that they may be reconciling their friendship. The two were photographed leaving a restaurant in Los Angeles on Saturday night, marking a surprising development after their very public fallout in 2019.

Their friendship came to an end when news broke that Woods allegedly cheated with Tristan Thompson, the boyfriend of Kylie’s sister, Khloé Kardashian. Despite being upset by the situation, Kylie didn’t rush to sever ties with Jordyn. She found it difficult to cut her longtime confidant out of her life, especially since they had been so close during Kylie’s pregnancy, with Jordyn being by her side almost every day.

In a tell-all interview a month later, Jordyn shared her side of the story, stating that Tristan had kissed her at an afterparty but denying any sexual encounter. She admitted to not fully disclosing the details to Khloé and Kylie when she initially told them about being at Thompson’s house.

An insider told to PEOPLE in 2019 that: “Although Kylie was very upset and disgusted by the Tristan situation, she didn’t want to make any harsh decisions when it came to Jordyn.”

“For a long time it seemed like Kylie wasn’t sure what would happen with their friendship. It was very difficult for Kylie to just cut Jordyn out of her life. Kylie was devastated at first. Jordyn was her confidant for so long. When Kylie was hiding her pregnancy from the world, Jordyn spent almost every day with her,” the insider added.

In the weeks following the incident, Kylie and Jordyn attempted “working on rebuilding their friendship,” revealed the insider.  Although it was clear that things would never be the same. Kylie apparently “had a very hard time moving on from their friendship,” said the insider, and “still in contact with Jordyn occasionally.”

“They are never going to be best friends ever again. Kylie has moved on and seems very happy. It just didn’t make sense that Jordyn still had things at Kylie’s,” noted the insider at the time.

The recent sighting of Kylie and Jordyn together suggests that they may be putting the past behind them and working towards repairing their friendship. It remains to be seen how their relationship will evolve in the future, but this unexpected reunion offers hope for a new chapter in their bond.
