Santorini Film Festival 2025

Santorini’s 8th Film Festival, themed “We’re Not Really Strangers,” is set to spark soulful connections from July 18-20, 2025, at the Open Air Cine Kamari and the Tomato Industrial Museum. Amid global chaos and recent local disruptions, this year’s lineup of short and feature films dives deep into solidarity, empathy, and compassion, weaving a vibrant mosaic of human relationships. Each screening, subtitled in Greek and English, explores how we bond with others, making you laugh, cry, and ponder life’s ties. From tales of unlikely friendships to heartfelt family sagas, the films remind us we’re all linked.

Beyond screenings, the festival offers educational activities for kids, fostering young creatives. Set against the island’s iconic venues, it’s a cultural hotspot where locals, travelers, and filmmakers mingle, breaking down barriers between strangers. Whether you’re a film buff or just chasing summer vibes, SFF2025 is a platform for shared stories and new friendships. It’s a weekend to feel closer to the world.
