Athens, Greece – Former Miss Greece 1999 and media personality Evi Vatidou, has found herself at the center of a legal storm after allegedly being involved in a traffic incident that left a 57-year-old woman seriously injured. The incident, which took place in the early hours of Sunday in Glyfada, unfolded when a verbal altercation escalated between Vatidou and two passengers on a motorcycle, leading to a collision with severe consequences.
At approximately 00:30, at the end of Souliou Street in Glyfada, Vatidou, who was driving a car, became engaged in a verbal dispute with a couple on a motorcycle, a 59-year-old man and a 57-year-old woman. The confrontation escalated when the motorcycle reportedly struck the mirror of Vatidou’s vehicle. Subsequently, Vatidou is alleged to have pursued and rammed the motorcycle, resulting in serious injuries to the 57-year-old female passenger.
The injured woman was promptly transported to the Asclepion of Voula, where she is currently hospitalized with reported broken arms and legs. Vatidou now faces legal repercussions, having been arrested on charges of grievous bodily harm, a felony, following a lawsuit filed against her by the 59-year-old man.
Vatidou is said to have counteracted by filing a lawsuit against the couple on the motorcycle, accusing them of insulting, threatening, and damaging her property. Her involvement in the incident adds a layer of complexity to her public persona, as she is previously known for her achievements in beauty pageants and media.
