Lamda Development has announced a partnership with Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group to construct the first Mandarin Oriental hotel in Athens. The luxury hotel will be situated on the coastal front of the Hellinikon project, as revealed by Lamda Development. Belt Riviera SA, a company established by Temes SA and Hellinikon SMSA, signed the agreement with Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.
The plan includes the development of a five-star hotel featuring 123 rooms and suites, set to open in the summer of 2027. Additionally, the agreement encompasses the construction of 17 luxury branded residences on the Athens riviera, near the Agios Kosmas marina. These residences will offer stunning views of the Saronic Gulf.
Odisseas Athanasiou, the CEO of Lamda Development, expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating that the new high-standard hotel complex would become a remarkable landmark. He believes it will serve as an international reference point for the iconic Ellinikon investment.
The collaboration between Lamda Development and Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group marks an important step in enhancing Athens’ hospitality sector and contributing to the city’s growing reputation as a sought-after destination for luxury accommodations.
