Greece is currently in the midst of local and regional election runoffs on Sunday, which includes six out of the 13 regions and 84 out of the 332 municipalities, with 28 in the Attica region. These runoffs are taking place in areas where no combination secured a majority exceeding 43% in the first round held last Sunday.

The polling stations opened at 7 a.m. and are set to close at 7 p.m., with the results anticipated at 10 p.m. During the runoff, no preference cross is placed, as the competition is between the leading candidates for Regional Governors and Mayors from the two combinations that garnered the highest number of votes in the initial round.
