MEP Eva Kaili, who is currently under detention in Belgium in connection with the Qatargate scandal, had a heartfelt reunion with her two-year-old daughter on Friday.

At 5:20 p.m., Alexandros Kailis, Eva’s father, accompanied the child during her visit to Haren Prison near Brussels.

Considering the importance of maintaining family connections, Kaili’s defense team had formally requested the Belgian authorities to allow her to meet her daughter, and their request was granted.

The meeting between Kaili and her daughter provided a precious opportunity for them to spend valuable time together and strengthen their bond, amidst the challenging circumstances surrounding Kaili’s detention.
