Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan are scheduled to meet during the UN Summit in New York on Wednesday at 11 a.m. local time (6 p.m. Greek time). The Greek delegation will include Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis and the PM’s diplomatic adviser Anna Maria Boura. Meanwhile, the Turkish president will be accompanied by Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and chief adviser Akif Cagatay Kilic.

This summit meeting is seen as a precursor to future engagements between Greece and Turkey, with the primary goal of maintaining a positive atmosphere conducive to calm and dialogue.
