NEW TERRORNew Terrorist Group Claims Responsibility for Failed Bombing Attempt at Thessaloniki Courthouse

Thessaloniki, Greece – A newly emerged terrorist group, self-identifying as “Armed Response,” has taken credit for the recent failed bombing at the Thessaloniki courthouse in northern Greece. The group’s declaration of involvement, along with menacing threats against judicial officials, was disseminated through an anarchist website.

In their statement, the group asserted their responsibility for the failed bombing and issued chilling warnings, stating that their violent actions would extend beyond judicial officials. “Our bullets will find the target, not only aimed at judicial officials,” the group proclaimed.

The failed bombing incident involved an envelope containing explosives addressed to the president of the Court of Appeal. Fortunately, the device was discovered and neutralized by a bomb disposal unit before it could be detonated. Following standard procedure, the intact explosives were transported to forensic laboratories for further examination.

Reports indicate that the targeted president of the Court of Appeal has been subjected to threats from convicted criminals in the past, underscoring the seriousness of the situation. It’s worth noting that this isn’t the first time the Thessaloniki courthouse has been the target of terrorist activity, as it was previously attacked in 2010.

Authorities are actively investigating the incident and working to identify members of the newly surfaced terrorist group, while also implementing heightened security measures to protect judicial officials and prevent future attacks.

“The safety and security of our judicial system are of paramount importance,” stated a spokesperson for the Greek Ministry of Justice. “We are committed to ensuring that those responsible for these cowardly acts are swiftly brought to justice.”
