Aside beautiful beaches, exquisite nature, yummy food and great nightlife, Rhodes Island has one more thing to offer to its visitors this summer.
The Rhodes Jazz Festival starts on Friday and will take place in the old town of Rhodes, at the Gate of St.Paul. The location is a beautiful path through a medieval alley, close to the sea.
According to the Mayor of Rhodes, Antonis V. Kambourakis: “The Rhodes Jazz Festival is one of the most important cultural events of the Greek summer. Having gone through a successful course of eight years, it has now developed into an institution for the cultural events of our country.”
“The event has acquired a loyal audience that supports it for its artistic value and for the unique moments of high value it offers. It has established itself in the consciousness of the permanent residents as well as the visitors of our island,” said the Mayor.
