A 34-year-old woman was apprehended in Thessaloniki on Tuesday following an altercation with her 35-year-old partner, during which she allegedly stabbed him with a knife.
The incident occurred at the couple’s residence in the Kordelio district, escalating when the woman reportedly stabbed her partner in the abdomen as he attempted to disarm her.
Following the attack, the victim was promptly transported to Papageorgiou Hospital, where he underwent surgical intervention for his injuries. Meanwhile, authorities have detained the woman.
Upon her arrest, the woman was brought before a prosecutor, who levied charges of domestic dangerous bodily harm, illegal possession of a weapon, and its use against her.
