How They Met…

Their love story began in Athens back in 2017, when fate brought them together during a night out with mutual friends. Maria, who had recently moved to the bustling city from the countryside for a job, instantly caught Konstantinos’ attention. Their eyes met, and the world around them seemed to fade away, leaving only the two of them in that magical moment.

Their conversation flowed effortlessly, and it was evident that they shared a genuine interest in one another. As the night drew to a close, Konstantinos plucked up the courage to ask for Maria’s social media, hoping to see her again soon.

Interestingly, they never met those friends they had gone out with that night. Instead, they embarked on a beautiful journey together, starting to date shortly after that fateful encounter. Despite a job offer in another city, Maria knew deep down that she had to stay in Athens because she felt that Konstantinos might be the one for her.

The Proposal…

The proposal itself was a delightful surprise. One ordinary day, as Konstantinos went to pick Maria up from work, he suggested they take a walk by the sea and order sushi to enjoy at home. In Greece, where pita gyros reigns as the king of fast food, sushi is considered a fancy treat. This unusual choice sparked Maria’s curiosity, hinting that something special was about to happen.

Unbeknownst to her, Konstantinos had prepared a heartfelt video with cherished pictures from their years together. Overwhelmed with emotions, Maria couldn’t hold back tears as the video came to an end, and Konstantinos got down on one knee to propose. Without hesitation, she said yes, sealing their love in that unforgettable moment.

The Wedding…

Immediately after, they joyously shared the news with their families, savoring the happiness that enveloped them. Their wedding, held in the enchanting village of Platamonas in upper Greece, demanded meticulous preparation and energy. Nestled between a mountain and the sea, the quaint little church provided the perfect backdrop for creating everlasting memories and capturing breathtaking photographs.

Following the ceremony, a joyous celebration ensued, where family and guests from various parts of Greece and abroad came together to toast the beginning of Konstantinos and Maria’s new life. As glasses clinked and cheers filled the air, it was clear that their love story had touched the hearts of everyone present.

With boundless excitement and love in their hearts, Konstantinos and Maria embarked on their journey as a married couple, eager to create a future filled with shared dreams and endless possibilities.
