Celebrity couple Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have announced the arrival of their new baby boy, Wren Alexander Stephens, born via surrogate. Teigen confirmed the news in an Instagram post, expressing gratitude to their surrogate, Alexandra, whom she described as incredible, loving, and compassionate. Teigen also revealed that she had the opportunity to be pregnant alongside the surrogate for a period of time. The couple chose the name Wren Alexander Stephens, with the middle name Alexander paying tribute to their surrogate.
“We want to say thank you for this incredible gift you have given us, Alexandra,” she wrote in her instagram post. You are the “most incredible, loving, compassionate surrogate,” she said of Alexandra, while also adding that she and Legend “are so happy to tell the world he is here, with a name forever connected to you, Wren Alexander Stephens.”
Teigen further revealed that their hearts and home are now officially full, and they believe that their late son, Jack, is watching over their growing family. The arrival of their new baby comes just five months after the birth of their daughter, Esti.

Teigen recently faced online accusations of secretly using a surrogate for Esti’s birth and responded with sarcasm, posting an intimate photo taken after her cesarean section, jokingly referring to her “moon bump.” In a previous interview, Teigen spoke openly about her excitement for her first cesarean section, as she had already experienced vaginal births with their older children, Miles Theodore and Luna Simone. She expressed her fascination with the surgical process and even took photos during the operation.
