The couple, who got married in two ceremonies in 2019, have reportedly been facing “serious problems” for the past six months. Sources close to the situation revealed that Joe has been taking on primary parenting duties during this time, caring for their two young daughters, Willa, three, and a one-year-old whose name has not been publicly revealed.
Details surrounding the couple’s separation are scarce, and they haven’t been seen together in public for several months. The last known public appearance of the couple was in April when they were photographed arriving at an afterparty in London, where Joe was DJing.
Despite their public appearances as a couple earlier this year, Joe has been spotted without his wedding ring in recent weeks. However, he was seen wearing it again during a Jonas Brothers performance in Detroit in late August.
Sophie, known for her role in Game of Thrones and Joe, one of the Jonas Brothers members, have been relatively private about their family life. Sophie avoided sharing photos of her pregnancy until after giving birth to their first daughter, Willa, in July 2020.
The couple originally resided in Los Angeles but sold their West Coast home in September 2021, opting for a Miami mansion. Sophie had expressed her desire to eventually relocate to England for the sake of her family’s well-being and education.
