In response to the backlash, Alabama took to her Instagram Story to address the criticism and defend her choices. Alongside a photo of herself making an angry face, she wrote, “Let’s stop getting mad on my page that you felt the need to oversexualize me and have a problem with it. I’m not going to wear long sleeves etc to make the internet not sexualize the body I was born with. If you have a problem, unfollow me.”
The criticism extended beyond Alabama’s fashion choices, with some commenters questioning her age and expressing concern about her father, Travis Barker, approving of her posts. Alabama’s defiant response included a clear message asserting her independence and her right to make decisions about her own body.
