DEAD AT 46British Supermodel Georgina Cooper Dies at 46 During Greek Vacation

Cooper was first admitted to a local hospital on October 21 but was later transferred to a more advanced facility on the island of Crete, where she received treatment for five days before tragically passing away. While the cause of death has not been officially confirmed, sources have reported that Cooper may have suffered from a brain hemorrhage linked to long COVID.

Her former agent, Dean Goodman, reflected on Cooper’s recent health struggles, stating, “She had been unwell during COVID and had developed health problems that had her in and out of the hospital. But Georgina still had plans for the future and was looking forward to life with her new husband.”

Close friends have expressed their devastation at her unexpected passing. Fellow model Jade Parfitt, 46, shared heartfelt memories of her friend: “Georgina was a ray of light, always laughing and full of life. She was one of those people everyone wanted to be around backstage. Her impact on the industry was enormous, and we’re all heartbroken.”

Cooper’s modeling career began at just 13 when she was discovered at the Elite Look of the Year contest. Her distinctive look, particularly her gapped front teeth, captivated top fashion photographer Corinne Day, leading to iconic collaborations and magazine covers, including US Vogue. By the time she was 15, Cooper had starred in a Jon Bon Jovi music video and solidified herself as a leading face of the 1990s fashion scene.

Despite her career success, Cooper stepped away from modeling to focus on raising her son, Sonny. “I couldn’t bear to leave him alone for work,” she once said. Most recently, Cooper had shifted her career to the hospitality industry.
