British TV favorite Paul Hollywood has tied the knot with pub landlady Melissa Spalding in a luxurious Cyprus hotel, and it was a star-studded affair with their close friends and family in attendance, including his Bake Off co-host Prue Leith. The wedding took place at the hotel’s chapel, which added a touch of elegance to the event.
The festivities kicked off in the afternoon with a beautiful ceremony, followed by a lively and memorable evening celebration. It’s said that the hotel management went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for the couple’s big day.
Paul has a special connection to Cyprus, having lived there in the 1990s and worked as the head baker at a sister hotel of the one where they got married. Their guest list included 75 people, including Prue, who had been enjoying some time at the hotel before the wedding.
According to insiders, it was a tasteful and stylish wedding, and the hotel made sure everyone had a blast. The celebrations continued well into the night with music and plenty of drinks flowing.
Paul began dating Melissa in 2019, following his split from Summer Monteys-Fullam. The wedding venue is known for its lavish ceremonies, and it’s reported that the cost of such weddings can reach £100,000, while the villa-style rooms start at £400 a night.
Paul has a long-standing relationship with the family that owns the luxurious venue, as he previously worked at their other hotel in Paphos during the 1990s. It was there that he met his now ex-wife, Alexandra, who was a scuba diving instructor. They married in 1998 but sadly divorced in 2017 after Paul admitted to infidelity.
