On July 5, Greece, Cyprus and Armenia came together to sign a trilateral military cooperation program. The discussions took place in the Republic of Cyprus, with Levon Ayvazyan, the head of the Department of Defense Policy and International Cooperation of the RA Ministry of Defense, leading the Armenian delegation.
The consultations covered a wide range of security and cooperation matters that are of mutual interest to all three nations. The participants expressed their commitment to working together and taking collective measures to enhance the defense capabilities and military security of their respective countries.
Following the discussions, the three countries signed an annual program for trilateral military cooperation. This program entails a series of events and activities that will be conducted in Armenia, Greece, and Cyprus, aimed at further strengthening their collaboration in the defense sphere.
To conclude the consultations, Lieutenant General Dimokritos Zervakis, the commander of the National Guard of the Republic of Cyprus, received the delegations. This meeting provided an opportunity for further interaction and exchange between the military officials of the three countries.
