CHAMPIONS LEAGUEInter Milan Reach Champions League Final for the First Time in 13 Years After Beating Fierce Rival AC Milan

Inter Milan secured a historic victory over their fierce rivals AC Milan, booking their spot in the Champions League final for the first time in 13 years.

With a 2-0 lead from the first leg, Inter displayed a disciplined performance at San Siro, fending off Milan’s early pressure and emerging triumphant.

The match began with a frenetic pace as Milan aimed to overturn the deficit. They came close with Theo Hernandez’s fierce strike and Brahim Diaz’s denied attempt, but Inter’s defense held firm. Returning from injury, Rafael Leao showcased his talent but narrowly missed the mark with a shot from the left.

As the first half progressed, Inter started asserting themselves and came close to sealing the tie before halftime. However, Milan’s goalkeeper Mike Maignan produced a stunning save to deny Edin Dzeko’s header from close range.

The second half saw Inter control the game, stifling Milan’s attacking opportunities. With 16 minutes remaining, Lautaro Martinez broke the deadlock, sliding the ball under Maignan to send the Inter fans into ecstasy.
