TOO BRAVE TO HANDLERishi Sunak Fires Suella Braverman as Home Secretary following Her Criticism of UK’s Metropolitan Police

In a sweeping reshuffle, Chancellor Rishi Sunak has announced the appointment of James Cleverly as the new Home Secretary, succeeding Suella Braverman, who was dismissed from the Cabinet. Additionally, former Prime Minister David Cameron has made a stunning comeback, taking on the role of Foreign Secretary as a peer in the House of Lords.

Braverman faced termination from her Cabinet position following the publication of an unauthorized article critical of the Metropolitan Police and accusations of fueling far-right aggression on Armistice Day. Despite supporters like Tory MP Andrea Jenkyns defending her for “speaking the truth,” Sunak’s decision to remove her has drawn criticism within the party.

Tory MP Jacob Rees-Mogg expressed disagreement with the move, stating, “Firing her is a mistake – she understood what the country wanted and needed in terms of migration, and I think it raises questions about the seriousness of the Government in tackling illegal migration.”

The controversy surrounding Braverman also extended to comments she made about homeless individuals, suggesting they live in tents “as a lifestyle choice.” Following discussions with Sunak, Braverman has exited the government.
