TRAGIC DISCOVERYMissing British Grandmother Found Dead on Greek Island

Susan Hart, a 74-year-old grandmother from Bath, who went missing on the Greek island of Telendos three weeks ago, has been discovered deceased in a remote area. Mrs. Hart was on holiday with her husband, Ed, when she disappeared on April 30.

Her husband had gone rock climbing while she planned to enjoy a book, but Mrs. Hart could not be located afterward. Her stepfather identified her, leaving the family heartbroken. They are now awaiting the repatriation of her body to Switzerland, where she resided.

A post-mortem examination is expected to be conducted in Greece. Mrs. Hart, who had been displaying symptoms of dementia in recent years but had not yet received a formal diagnosis, leaves behind three daughters who currently reside in Canada, Australia, and London with their young families.

Ruth Landale, Mrs. Hart’s daughter, expressed that it had been an incredibly stressful and distressing time for the entire family. The British Foreign Office confirmed that consular assistance was being provided to the family and that they were in contact with local authorities.
