ROYAL ANNIVERSARYQueen Rania of Jordan Celebrates 30th Wedding Anniversary with King Abdullah

Queen Rania of Jordan had multiple reasons to celebrate recently as she marked her 30th wedding anniversary with King Abdullah following their son’s wedding. The royal wedding of Crown Prince Hussein took place earlier this month, adding to the joyous occasions.

Queen Rania commemorated the milestone anniversary on Saturday by sharing a heartfelt video montage on Instagram. The collection of photos captured the couple’s love story over the years, including formal portraits, candid moments, and working engagements. The video concluded with a timeless snapshot of Queen Rania, 52, and King Abdullah, 61, beaming on their wedding day, June 10, 1993. The queen also shared a simpler tribute on social media, captioning it with a heart.

The images showcased the enduring love between Queen Rania and King Abdullah, with one photo featuring her seated behind him, gently holding his shoulder as he smiled at the camera. Another close-up shot focused on the vibrant floral arrangement from the previous picture. During their 30-year marriage, Queen Rania and King Abdullah welcomed four children: Crown Prince Hussein, Princess Iman, Princess Salma, and Prince Hashem.

Just days before their anniversary, Crown Prince Hussein, 28, tied the knot with Princess Rajwa in a magnificent royal wedding on June 1. The couple followed in Queen Rania and King Abdullah’s footsteps by choosing Zahran Palace as their wedding venue for an Islamic marriage ceremony. They later celebrated with a grand reception at Al Husseiniya Palace, attended by 1,700 guests, including world leaders and royal dignitaries such as Prince William and Kate Middleton.
