Greek-Australian football manager Ange Postecoglou has clinched the prestigious Premier League Manager of the Month award for August 2023. This recognition comes as a result of his exceptional leadership, guiding Tottenham Hotspur to a draw and two remarkable victories in the early stages of the new season.
In a significant move, Postecoglou, 58, assumed the managerial role at Spurs in June, following his tenure at Celtic. Despite the departure of their all-time leading scorer, Harry Kane, to Bayern Munich just a day before the Premier League campaign kicked off, Postecoglou’s Tottenham remained undefeated throughout August.

Their journey began with a commendable 2-2 draw against Brentford, followed by a thrilling 2-0 victory over Manchester United on home turf. Closing out the month, they secured a 2-0 win in an away match against Bournemouth. Currently, they hold the second position in the Premier League standings, having triumphed 5-2 against Burnley just before the September international break.
