Neymar, the world’s most expensive footballer, has shared the joyous news of the birth of his baby girl, Mavie, with his model girlfriend, Bruna Biancardi, in a heartfelt Instagram post.
Despite being thousands of miles away from his new club, Al-Hilal, Neymar received permission to fly back to Brazil to be present for the birth of his second child. Earlier this morning, the couple welcomed their new addition to the world, and Neymar couldn’t wait to share the news with his 215 million Instagram followers.
In his emotional Instagram post, Neymar wrote, “Our Mavie arrived to complete our lives. Welcome, daughter! You are already very loved by us… thank you for choosing us.” The post included touching images of the couple sharing intimate moments with their newborn, including tender kisses and Neymar bathing his daughter.
Bruna, aged 29, revealed that the name “Mavie” means “my life,” and the couple was flooded with congratulatory messages in the comments section. Al-Hilal, Neymar’s Saudi club, was among the first to offer their best wishes, and Brazilian Olympic 100m hurdler Maurren Maggi commented, “God Bless.”
Mavie is the couple’s first child together, while Neymar is already a father to a 12-year-old son named Davi Lucca from his previous relationship with Carolina Dantas.
Neymar and Bruna have been dating since 2021, and they made their relationship public in January of the following year. Bruna announced her pregnancy in April, but the couple faced challenges when reports emerged suggesting Neymar had been unfaithful. The football star was seen partying with two mystery women in a Spanish nightclub, prompting Bruna to express her disappointment on Instagram.
Despite the ups and downs, Neymar apologized to Bruna in June, acknowledging his mistakes and expressing his desire to have her by his side. He emphasized the importance of their relationship and the impact of his actions on both her and their family.
This joyful occasion comes after Neymar’s move to Al-Hilal in the Middle East this summer. The club paid a staggering £77.6 million for his transfer and signed him to a mega-money £2.5 million-a-week deal. Neymar made an impressive debut with Al-Hilal, scoring in their victory against Al-Fayha, and later, he found the net in the Champions League against Tehran before taking a trip back to Brazil to welcome his new baby girl, Mavie, into the world.
