ATHENS STREET FOOD FESTIVALAthens Street Food Festival Kicks Off This Friday

Starting this Friday, the Athens Street Food Festival will take place at the OSY depot in Gazi, offering food enthusiasts a chance to indulge in a wide range of delicious treats. Spanning over four weekends in May (May 5-6-7, 12-13-14, 19-20-21, and 26-27-28), the event is known as the country’s largest food festival and is sure to leave visitors with a taste of the world.

Since 2016, the Athens Street Food Festival has been the go-to place for anyone interested in exploring the new “street food” scene in Greece. Pop-up shops introduced and established many of the culinary trends of recent years. This year’s festival promises to present authentic and original flavors from around the globe, including Peru, China, Mexico, Vietnam, Arabia, Jamaica, Italy, the USA, India, Japan, and Greece, with many vegan and vegetarian options.

Besides the delicious food, the Athens Street Food Festival also features a lively atmosphere, with well-known radio producers playing music and favorite DJs performing every night. As a special treat, James Lavelle of UNKLE will perform an exclusive DJ set on Saturday, May 27.

This year, the festival is also offering online ticket sales for the first time, with tickets priced at just 3 euros. The festival’s opening hours are Friday 17:00 – 00:30, Saturday 12:00 – 01:00, and Sunday 12:00 – 00:00.
