Camila Cabello has entered the dating scene again following her split from ex-boyfriend Shawn Mendes, according to PEOPLE. Rumors of a romantic reconciliation between the two singers had surfaced after they were spotted kissing at Coachella in April, but it seems their reunion has since fizzled out.

Though representatives for Cabello, 26, and Mendes, 24, have not provided any comments on the matter.

The couple initially broke up in November 2021 after two years of dating. However, their public displays of affection and outings together in New York City and Los Angeles, including attending Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour stop in New Jersey in May, had suggested a possible reconciliation. Unfortunately, reports emerged in early June stating that they had once again called it quits.

Mendes recently released a new song titled “What the Hell Are We Dying For?,” which many fans interpreted as referencing their split. In an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, Mendes revealed that he wrote the track during a time of confusion about relationships and other aspects of his life.

Cabello, on the other hand, hinted at their brief reunion in a snippet of a song she shared on social media in April, shortly after their appearance at Coachella. In the clip titled “June Gloom”, she sang: “How come you’re just so much better? / Is this gonna end ever? / I guess I’ll f— around and find out / Are you coming to Coachella? / If you don’t, it’s whatever / If you do, honey, it’ll be all I think about.”
