In 2010, White graduated with first-class honors in gender studies from the University of Melbourne. During her studies, she delved into researching women’s experiences in the Australian pornography industry. Her honors thesis, titled “The Porn Performer: The Radical Potential of Pleasure in Pornography,” was published in The Routledge Companion to Media, Sex, and Sexuality in 2017.
Back in 2014, she expressed her desire to return to university to pursue her Ph.D. and broaden her research to encompass a more diverse range of performers.
