Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg, two prominent technology billionaires, have seemingly agreed to engage in a cage fight. The news broke when Musk posted on Twitter expressing his willingness to participate in a fight with Zuckerberg. In response, Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, shared a screenshot of Musk’s tweet and asked him to provide the location.
I’m up for a cage match if he is lol

A spokesperson from Meta confirmed the exchange, stating that “the story speaks for itself.” Musk then suggested holding the fight in the Octagon, the fenced-in area used for Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) matches, located in Las Vegas.
Musk, who will turn 52 soon, humorously shared details about his fighting style on Twitter, claiming he had a move called “The Walrus,” where he would lie on top of his opponent and do nothing. He also mentioned that he rarely works out, except for playfully lifting his kids in the air.

On the other hand, Zuckerberg, 39, has been training in mixed martial arts (MMA) and has recently won jiu-jitsu tournaments. The online exchanges between the two billionaires have gone viral, with social media users speculating on the outcome of the fight and creating memes featuring mock fight posters.
While the interaction between Musk and Zuckerberg has attracted attention, Meta, the company led by Zuckerberg, has also been working on developing a text-based social network. The network, codenamed P92, is intended to compete with platforms like Twitter. It would potentially allow users to follow accounts they already follow on Instagram and could attract users from decentralized platforms such as Mastodon. Meta confirmed that the platform is currently in development and may pose a greater challenge to Musk’s presence on Twitter than other potential rivals like BlueSky or Mastodon.
