The 55-year-old received a heartfelt standing ovation, reflecting the audience’s admiration for her resilience.
“When I say that I’m happy to be here,” Celine emotionally expressed, “I really mean it.” This moment comes after the singer’s sister, Claudette, provided an update on Celine’s fight against the disorder, stating, “She’s working hard, but she doesn’t have control over her muscles.”
Claudette shared insights into Celine’s struggles, highlighting the impact on her ability to walk and even speak at times, describing the condition as making sufferers resemble “human statues.” Despite these challenges, Claudette revealed the shared dream of returning to the stage, acknowledging uncertainty about the form it might take.

Acknowledging the disappointment for her fans, Celine assured them of her determination: “It’s not fair to you to keep postponing the shows, and even though it breaks my heart, it’s best that we cancel everything now until I’m really ready to be back on stage again.
