FOR THE FANSEighties Supermodel Carol Alt Joins OnlyFans at 62

Iconic supermodel Carol Alt, known for gracing the covers of high fashion magazines like Vogue and Harpers Bazaar in the ’80s, has joined OnlyFans at the age of 62. This unconventional decision marks a significant shift in Alt’s career, providing her with unprecedented control over her own image.

After 44 years in the industry, Alt expresses the novelty of this experience, stating, “Forty-four years of working, I don’t own one of my photos.” She explains the motivation behind this move, highlighting the lack of control she had over her own image throughout her extensive modeling career. Now, with OnlyFans, Alt has taken matters into her own hands, hiring her own photographer and dictating the narrative of her visual representation.

Alt emphasizes the importance of defining her own image, stating, “It’s the wave of the future… When people say it isn’t my image, I don’t want to be defined by someone else’s image [of me]. I want to define my own image.”

While OnlyFans is often associated with explicit content, Alt clarifies that her content will be different. Although there will be “sexy, beautiful” nude photos, she assures that they will be “tastefully done,” distinguishing between images that are tacky and those that are tasteful. Alt, who has previously appeared in Sports Illustrated and Playboy, sees this venture as a form of empowerment, particularly for someone her age.

The inspiration for this move came from her colleague Denise Richards, with whom Alt stars in the new show, “Paper Empire.” Alt, an entrepreneur at heart, aims to challenge age-related stereotypes and empower women, asserting, “I’d like to be hired from it… Age doesn’t define me. Women are beautiful at every age. I want people to feel empowered. It’s all good stuff.”

In a philanthropic gesture, Alt plans to donate a portion of the earnings from her OnlyFans venture to mental health charities for women.
