In a historic achievement, Ange Postecoglou, the manager of Tottenham Hotspur, has been awarded the Premier League Manager of the Month for the second time in a row during his first two months in charge.
Under Postecoglou’s guidance, Tottenham has surged to the top of the Premier League table, boasting an undefeated record with six wins from eight matches and two draws.
The last manager to secure two consecutive Manager of the Month awards was Jurgen Klopp in the 2019-20 season when Liverpool clinched the Premier League title.
Ange Postecoglou, the former Celtic manager, previously received the award for August, making him the first Australian to achieve this accolade. In a double celebration for Tottenham, the club’s captain, Son Heung-min, was named the Player of the Month for September.
